Introducing a new character

Part 10

I didn't know what to do; I was muzzled so I couldn't even warn Virgil when and if we found him.
I didn't even bother to struggle against Jack's grip, but I had to think of something and escape.
Jack carried me through the corridors and then we entered an elevator to head to the ground floor, but as we ascended and neared the ground floor it began to get very cold.
Even Jack began to notice the sudden drop in temperature, he glanced at me concerned but then the elevator door opened and we both looked on in shock.
We entered into a lobby completely frozen, all around there were guards encased in ice with very terrified looks on their faces.
What the hell happened here? I wondered.
"Six! What's going on up there” I suddenly heard Trask’s voice over a speaker attached to the wall “The surveillance cameras aren't working and the guard detail I left up there is no longer responding?" said Trask worriedly.
Jack then walked over to an intercom attached to the wall and turned it on.
"The first floor has been frozen somehow, as have the guards, everything is covered in ice!" replied Jack, there was a moments pause on the other end of the speaker and then Trask answered.
“I believe Seven has nothing to do with this, we have an intruder” Said Trask, by the sound of his voice I could have sworn he was pleased with this turn of events.
I looked around the lobby again and I kept wondering what could possibly do this, but I also had a feeling that I was going to find out soon.
“Six, I want you to find our intruder and deal with it” ordered Trask and without a word Jack turned the intercom off and followed the trail of frozen guards.
We soon came to a large industrial door but it was covered in ice, Jack however took a deep breath and exhaled fire at the door.
The ice melted quickly and Jack pushed the door open, we entered into a dark frozen hanger but there was no aircraft stored here, nor were there any people around, apart from the ice it was completely empty.
What would Trask have an empty hanger for? I wondered, suddenly however we heard something from above us.
Just as Jack looked up something light blue hit Jacks arm and then it was incased in ice, Jack released his hold on me and as soon as I landed on the ground I ran and put some distance between us.
I turned back to find Jack frantically looking around for the source of the thing that had frozen his arm and then he was hit again and his whole lower section was covered in ice.
Suddenly a large form landed in front of me and I jumped in shock.
I looked up at this thing before me and I couldn’t believe my eyes, it was a dragon, it was slightly taller than Jack, it’s scales were white while it’s belly scales were ice blue.
Unlike Jake or Virgil this one had no mane like they did, instead it had a row of curved spikes reaching from it’s head all the way down to the end of it’s tail.
The dragon had blue scale armor covering it’s arms, it’s shoulders and it’s thighs but the most noticeable thing was that it had no wings.
I looked on as it opened it’s mouth and fired a blast of blue light and as it hit Jack he became completely encased in ice.
The dragon then turned his attention to me and I felt smaller than ever, it lowered itself down to me and to my surprise it pulled the muzzle off my face.
“Are you okay” it said, by the sound of it’s voice I could tell it was male.
At first I didn’t know what to say and then finally my mouth started working again.
Y-yeah I’m fine, who are you? I asked.
“My name is Dalgyon, I’ve been waiting for you” he said smiling.
For me, why? I asked confused.
“Because now we can get out of here, My friend should have found Virgil by now and I have this guy on the ice too” he said pointing back to Jack as he picked me up.
Wait, you know where Virgil is! Is he okay!? I asked concerned.
“Don’t worry, he’s just fine” he assured me.
But what about him? I said pointing a paw over to jack who was still incased in ice.
“Oh don’t worry about him, he’ll be alright and it’s best he stays where he is for now” Said Dalgyon.
Okay…..Um, I’m trying to get my head around all this. I said feeling very confused about everything and Dalgyon noticed this.
“Your wondering how I know so much and where I came from aren’t you” he said.
suddenly however before he could explain the ice covering Jack began to crack.
“No way!” said Dalgyon unbelievingly as Jack’s icy prison shattered and Jack let out a roar of anger.
“That’s impossible!? The ice should have rendered him unconscious!” said Dalgyon.
What now? I asked.
“I’ll have to knock him out the old fashioned way” He then put me back down on the ground and prepared to fight.
